Top 5 things to help spool times - need your opinions!

What would you guys consider as the top 5 upgrades to help a faster spooling rate?

I'm doing a k24/18g upgrade, but I figure the upgrades would work for any turbo.

Let me know what you think! Thanks

0)nitrous
1)tune
2)tight spring(1 bar), properly setup wastegates
3)Low pressure drop intercoolers (look at some of TPC's intercooler dynos)
4)turbo inlet piping
5)the rest of the piping

Earl3 is right on but he forgot exhaust...

All GT28 turbos will significantly outspool the 24/18g and the alpha will out power it top end.

24/18g offers the best bang for the buck if you already have K24s, otherwise go straight to Tial Ball Bearings... The only reason people love 24/18g turbos is because they have them.... they are effective but laggy

Flame jacket on...

I have the A28's but dont think you will get full use out of them without all supporting mods. I learned this because when I look at my dynos I can see the turbos are choking up top. I dont know if people with the K24's really have this problem. I am a bit tight on my budget now but I know I am going to get:
1) Rear intake piping
2) Air Intake
3) Plenum
4) TB
5) High performance IC's
Im sure after these mods my car will not die out on the high end.

I will tell you though there is a little lag in first, less in second, none above. The turbos kick in around 3k rpms!

catless exhaust with without restrictions.
Good ICs that do not use stock 1.8" ID hoses and fittings.
smart custom tune via data logging.
Wg springs upgraded.
injectors for some safety.
BMC filter at least and the intake plenum that goes to the turbos...

Switzer P800 sports custom aero-profile Alpha 28's, spools faster than our billet K16's.

I have, install isn't bad but had to sawzall the stock pipes out. This is with the motor lowered ~5 inches from removing the 2 18mm motor mount bolts.

We sell the EVO inlet ducts and many customers have installed them with the motor in the car.
