speedtech crossflow! worth it!

i just wanna tell the board that i just installed a crossflow x cellerator loud version today and it was awesome. the sound is exotic like and i felt the difference in terms of torque or maybe its just me. But the car is more responsive and definitely gets notice with the exotic sound. Even my mechanic was impressed with it. He said it sounds SICK. I definitely recommend this exhaust for the price, sound, performance, and very good customer service. Keep it up John.

P.S

Thanks for the feedback, and I hope you enjoy that newfound power and sound. Were you coming from a stock exhaust, or did you have a different aftermarket unit which you were replacing?

Quick question, how much drone is there when you are at cruising speeds with the windows up?
The "Loud" sounds amazing, i've just been concerned with the level of drone...
Thanks!

of course it drones under 3000 rpm but aftermarket exhaust always have that in my opinion. It doesn't bother me.

I have the quiet version of this exhaust and am VERY pleased with it...Drone is minimal and I'd compare it to the EP2 quiet that I've sampled in other members cars...

I have the loud version as well and I like it more every time i drive it. If you use you car as a daily driver or go on really long trips you would probably want the quiet version. I only drive my car 2-3 times a week and its perfect for me.

Hi Louie,

Thanks for the great review and kind words. I'm happy to hear you like it so much - I think it sounds great, too! And thanks for the order - I appreciate it.

Quick question, how much drone is there when you are at cruising speeds with the windows up?

The 3.0 loud is our more aggressive system, sounds fantastic, but does have some drone in the lower RPM's. Less drone than most aftermarket exhausts due to the cross-flow design. It's minimal, especially for a full 3" system and as others have pointed out the sound is awesome.

But if you are looking for a no drone system, as NH mentioned, then the 2.5 is the best choice, as it was designed for those that do not want drone. It's what I use on my daily driver and after 2 years, I still enjoy it. A lot of exhausts get tiring after a few weeks when the novelty wears off. Not our 2.5, it offers total comfort in the cabin with a great exotic sound on the exterior. For me, it's the perfect daily driver exhaust that continues to please on a long term basis...
