Since you are pushing alot more air, you would likely get more than 30whp. 900whp+

Oh I know on the boost I dynoed at last time, if it were in the 40s-50s it would have broken the 900rwhp marker

I've seriously thought about doing one, but when I build the motor I am going with the 997TT manifold and it requires a different plenum sadly

using the cayenne tb and ap splitter here. can't comment on perf. increase because a bunch of bits went in same time. no DTCs. will iron out some other issues I'm having and put some more miles on it before commenting on reliability. if it's something you're going to do anyways and dealer is subsidizing part of TB cost, worth considering i think. i imagine they'll only do so on P part.

I say go for it since dealer already pay for most of TB. Get IPD and ask them to throw in as well. May be they only charge .5-1 hr more. AP would be another good choice but no idea if all the bugs got solved yet.

I only have a flash and by pass pipes. Anyways, thanks guys, keep the opinions comming. I really appreciate the post with lots of information.

A few months back I installed the IPD plenum and bigger throttle and love the output. I feel the boost kicking in a bit sooner and top end feels much better. I would suggest doing the IPD as well from first hand experience.

did you get an dyno info before and after or any run logs before and after. It would help. The butt dyno isn't always the best method. I have been mulling this over forever and can't seem to bite the bullet.

I have the agency power TB/Plenum. It moved my spool a lower and mid range throttle response is sharper. No codes or problems here.

But I would not do it till you have pretty much all of the bold-ons done already.

what would be really cool is to datalog via durametric the rpms, boost, etc and compare before and after... feeling is one thing.. plotting is another...
just a thought...

yeah, I know. The same happened to me on the turbo intake plenum upgrade. I know it helped but can't prove it

Ive been there myself... many times... I tried to rationalize the moneys spent on certain things.. I tried to make my self believe it was better or faster... but went to the track and found out I was still running the same MPH...
I'm speaking from a general perspective... not exclusive to TB/plenum...

I dont know how much more objective or independant (I dont sell either product) you can get than acceleration data. Same car, similar conditions, no dyno variables, or conversion factors. GPS measurement, no speedo error, a recognized method on the forum...

The car went faster after the plenum/TB mod. 60-100 time (which is third gear from when the turbos hit to close to the red line) was 3.04s vs. 3.24s which is a 6.5% improvement.

The mods provide significant improvement. One can argue that the return on investment is not adequate compared to using larger turbos and leaving the plumbing alone. But I suspect that even greater benefit could be realized with larger turbos running higher boost...

If the graph is too small for you to see well you can try downloading it and enlarge it.
EDIT: The software makes it difficult to exactly overlay the graphs for some reason. If you have the PBox software I would be happy to send you both files to examine yourself. The times I quote come from the analytical function included with the software. No interpretation is required. The software generates the numbers that I quoted.
