Hey guys, where can I find Porsche History Books?

Hey guys, yea back with the new name (Kudos Darren).
Hey, I have to do a research paper in HS, and I have choosen to research Porsche's history. Its about the only thing I am interested in, so I thought it would be cool to do a project about. Just looking for some books on the general history of the company. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT!!
Thanks,
Evan

First I would go to a book store and check those out, I got most of my collection there. I'll see which books are good and give you some titles later. I think I got a couple from the dealer. Porsche, by Peter Vann(sp) comes to mind which is pretty good. Good luck.

Look under publisher Motorbooks International. I think they have a good selection to choose from.

I have Porsche Boxster by John Lamm (ISBN: 0760305196). It is a decent book about the development and introduction of the Boxster in 1997.

Porsche 911 Story by John Frere (ISBN: 1859608396) and Porsche 911 Buyer's Guide (ISBN: 0760309477) have been recommended and are on my reading list.

I think that's Paul Frere. A good book, btw.

There's also an interesting book on Porsche Motorsports... I think its called "Porsche Motorsports: The First 40 Years" or something like that (probably have the title wrong). I'm part of the way through it and its a pretty entertaining read.

P.S. Aron, you made a good recommendation. I only recalled Paul Frere's name because I've read his articles in car mags for years.
