How the Porsche 911 is Made
National Geographic is now showing a documentary on TV about how the 911 is made. They already showed Ferarri, Lambourgini and Rolls.

I guess that depends on where you live - every cable company would have it in a different place. For me it's 214 HD.

I saw that documentary. It was pretty good. If memory serves they didn't follow a production build of a turbo or a GT3 though. I was hoping to see that.

Yeah, didnt show turbo or GT2. I was pissed about that. They kept mentioning the GT3 and showing various driving clips of a blue one.

Been on a tour og the Stuttgart Porsche factory in Germany......was defiently the highlight of my trip to Deutscheland. Place is so clean you could eat off the floor. Beer vending machines all over, tour guide made fun of the 928, tour guide made fun of the US spec cars getting springs that make the car sit higher and uglier, saw several cup cars being built. Definetly recommend the tour to anyone visiting Germany.

I have watched on the cable very interesting.They also run the life of Ferdinand Porsche,his beggining,even when went to jail in France and the building of the first Porsche.

In the FACTS tab says...

Porsche recently released a two-and-half-hour documentary DVD on the company’s history. The film covers the very early days of the Ferdinard Porsche and gives details of the history of the German car maker decade to decade.

Anyone have this? Care to send me a backup copy
