One special custom X design exhaust(pics)
After a few weeks of emails back and forth with a client(overseas), we finally came to an agreement on building him the perfect exhaust. We chose 6 mufflers vs the standard 4 and skipped the cats... All are hand build with some internal differences between them... we hand polished it with a natural look per his request, made the outlet to the tips(including) 3.5"- which are custom cut to fit the bumper. The rest is a true 3" with 2.5" inner diameter mufflers(4) that allows us to pack more of the patent pending material for that awesome gt3 sound. The 2 side short mufflers are 6" and the rest are 12" long. we used custom louvered cores vs. the perforated ones and made the X from scratch as usual... every weld is ported from the inside... and our flanges are .5" that we cnc machine as well. We use high quality V band clamps and this is a one piece unit taking into consideration the V bands... we could have skipped them and made it a true one piece unit...
This exhaust weighs only 26lbs. and considering the 3" tubing along with the .5 flanges and true SS hand build (6)mufflers, I consider this a success...

Hey Mark, Does the exhaust from each side actually "crash" into each other when it gets to the "X"? If this is top secret, I understand, it just looks like it does, and was wondering about the efficiency. Thanks...

Wow, would love to hear this set up, nice to know a true custom exhaust builder with high standards and quality. Something tells me you may have to create a version name/number because you might be making a few more....
