To clear this up the E46 M3 guys weren't looking for super wide tires until now. We had guys running 305's easy now. And I am running an almost 28" tire in the back. That's pretty big. Can anyone come up wth another reason why the E46 is not a good high hp platform other then traction? Which I mean all big hp cars have, it's just the name of the game.

I can list a handful of reasons why the E46 M3 is good for all kinds of things including big HP.

Now all that isn't to say how great the Porsche is for this either. Both good cars imo.

There are many many cars on this forum at or over 600whp and a very generous amount over 700whp and a handful at 800+, still on stock blocks and run hard when they are driven. Having driven 996tts and 997tts I have to agree here. For some reason the e46 m3 is very enjoyable to drive.

 

good job you found a thread from 2007 .... clown. 996tts are making over 700wheel on stock bottom ends now with no issue. btw its torque shocks that bend rods not horsepower. you don't need to worry about torque in your car though.

A stock s54 motor dyno'd 720+whp with no issues. And that was because the turbo maxed out! You guys are underrating this motor tremendously.

Oh, so when uh, a handful of motors let go at higher levels now all of a sudden they don't? They got stronger overnight? Please, you know once you get out of the 6xx range you are pushing it and it is a matter of time.

This whole thread started because the fanboy could not live with a fact that I said "No" to a roll which is my right. He could not get this simple fact through his thick head that when two people agree to something it's possible that that agreement matters to at least one of them.

He went on a limb saying I cheated, which I did not. As it is evident from the races I did not need to cheat beat either one of those cars.

Mario - the owner of the M3 wanted to do a roll. I told him I wasn't interested and we parted ways in peace that evening.

Curio clown got both me and Mario worked up over this because he kept said things that I am not honest, decent, respectful person.

I just can't understnad why ONE person has to think to themselves to just go and pour mud over another person they have never even met....just because I did not do a roll race.
