Ha my dream garage....
1.My s4 but with 900awhp via a 3.6L vr6 swap and a 88mm turbo Instead of the weak sauce 600whp on the v6...
2. A built 996 gt2 with twin 5857 turbos
3. Taza's e46 m3 or one like it 1000whp+
4. 1500whp UGR TTG I would do some off the wall stuff to mine....
6.1000whp e36 m3
7. a g55 that runs 10s lol

The 5857's are VERY nice turbos! I'm probably going to max them out when I build the motor then throw a set of 6262's on!
#649
I never seen anyone run them on a porsche they would be my first choice!!!!!! But a 6262 on a built 3.8L would be nice but i would think really laggy!

Scott, is it true you are sleeving your block now?
In the other thread it is mentioned and I am curious as to if that is true or not:
I thought you were just doing the rods?

I originally considered new liners, but my builder compared a new set of LA Sleeve liners to my stock liners and refused to put them in the car. He said they were junk compared to the OEM liners, mine of which were perfect.
So, apparently these motors are built pretty well. He didn't even want to put in the new rods, but I insisted since I plan on making a lot more power next year (over 900rwhp) and don't feel like pushing the envelope.
That ignoramus on the other forum has absolutely no idea what he's talking about. He isn't even aware I've had my car back for the last 3 weeks and have been driving around at 700 rwhp on 93 for the last two.
As long as you don't incur a fluke problem like I did, 700rwhp is no sweat on these motors bone stock. Hell, neither is 800.
Here's a pic of the lifter that caused me to take the motor apart:

This just in BMW and Porsche to battle in...........................NHRA???
VS
Apparently since there owners are no longer interested in taking the corners they are pulling out of any kind of racing where the steering wheel has to be turned!

Well if you paid twice as much as a Z06 kit cost for a supercharger that is exactly the same would you not be mad?
Cut them some slack, you know they have earned it.

The problem with a couple of these guys is that they aren't true enthusiasts at all. They're insecure haters and nothing more. I have zero respect for that type of person.
