Hmmm, didn't I just state that in my previous post? "Stock ECU will continue to recalibrate via boost and/or timing for fuel quality beyond the minimum 93 for added power above the stock HP rating to a point (probably ~ 95)" I had guessed that no further benefit would come from greater than ~ 95 - you state 94 - your point?



The reason I stated up to 94 octane is because the ratings of fuel octane at the pumps is not always acurate and you may need to go to 94 to get 93. However, the fact is there is no increase in timing whatsoever when using a higher octane that the chip is programmed for. Maximum advancement of timing at WOT will be the same with 93 octane and 100 octane. Octane in this range will also have no effect on the turbo except that the combustion temps may be slightly lower and therefore giving you more air with each stroke.
