Possible to lock spoiler in up position?

I'm suffering from what I believe is the low-fluid-in-the-spoiler-hydraulic-rams situation because:

1) I get spoiler failure warnings
2) dampness under the rams

I have read about the fix where you put more fluid into the rams. But it looks to be an ugly job and I'm kind of busy at the moment.

I'm trying to avoid the awful warning messages that flash about the failed spoiler plus I like the look of the spoiler when it is raised. So my question is:

Can I lock the spoiler in the up position? Maybe that will prevent the messages.

I know that there is a fellow on the Internet selling a couple of supports that will "fix" the spoiler in the up position and allow you to save some weight by taking the rams out all together. But I'm not sure I want to go that route just yet.

I did the fixed supports and was very happy with the guys work and his shipping. Not a big deal to do. If you can put it up, do so and pull the fuse. I think you're then done, but someone with more experience will have to answer for sure.

I Was looking at the fixed rear wing, but how nice would it be if they offered it ADJUSTABLE. I didn't really look at the design, but if it could be threaded and adjustable from full extension to full down. There should be room for it anyway since there were the rams there to begin with. Anyone have any ideas?
