Taller drivers?

Ok, I' going to be in the market for a 996tt here in about a month or so (also considering the C6Z). I was just wondering how the interior fit is for taller drivers. I'm 6'4 and 225, athletic build, I didnt have too much issue with my 04 Cobra I had before and the times I've driven a C6 those didnt feel bad either.

So taller guys chime in!

The 996tt is one of the better cars for tall drivers. 6'5 here and I am very comfortable. A helmet requires a bit more of recline then I like, however.

I have WAY more room in my 997 than my cobra or my 05+ mustangs ( 6'1" 250, NOT atheltic build)

Depends on whether you are legs or torso. Back in 2001 I ordered a 996TT (one of the first to hit the streets) and had to order the sunroof delete option to fit in the car. I have no problem with my 997 with the sunroof. I am 6'2" but 32" inseem. Sit very high in a car.

I'm 6'6'', 220lbs, athletic build and have a 02 996tt. I have plenty of head room, but leg room is a little bit of an issue since the steering wheel does not tilt up (its fixed). It does periscope a little, which helps. I'm fine with the tiptronic, but no way I'd be able to comfortably work a clutch unless the wheel tilted up (like the 997 does, but not 996).

Some of the taller guys do the center console delete option. A little more room for the right leg too...

6'2" 350 lbs, plenty of room. Left knee hits steering wheel sometimes so would be better with a smaller wheel

6'3" / 240lbs / 34" inseam / athletic build

No problem as a daily driver, but could use more headroom for a helmet. Considering replacing the roof to get rid of the sunroof.

6'3" with a 32 inch inseam. I too sit tall in the saddle but I still have a good amount of room.
