theres some people on here that are using it and like it , i think it dumps some out to give you the sound , me personaly if i didnt have a blow through setup i would not use a BOV. its still metered air you are dumping out.

i nice set of baileys or forge will do the trick for DV.

There is no reason to replace the original Bosch DV's I run with about 1.4 bar and can guarantee that I have no leaks, I have pressure tested my system several times and it has never been any leakage at DV's.

thats is great and even tho you guarantee it YOURS are good does not mean every member of the communitys are

Ted Nelson, Customer: But why do they put a guarantee on the box?
Tommy: Because they know all they sold ya was a guaranteed piece of ****. That's all it is, isn't it? Hey, if you want me to take a dump in a box and mark it guaranteed, I will. I got spare time. But for now, for your customer's sake, for your daughter's sake, ya might wanna think about buying a quality product from me.

I have been running 1.0-1.1 bar with the Iforge DVs from Champion since Nov of 07 without any issues, honking or maintenance.

Thanks for the recommendations. Is there anything that makes one brand better than another? How much maintenance is involved with the billett diverter valves?

To piggy back off this thought, some dv's clearly state that they are maintance free while others make no mention to this. I recently bought a set of low mileage used ones, would I be remiss if I didnt clean them or service them before install? They are evoms with about 3k miles on them if that matters. And if I were to clean them or service them, what does that entail?

Thanks
Josh

The evoms ones come apart pretty easy. just clean and lube them, then make sure they are holding pressure by depressing the piston spring and closing the nipple. The piston should not return if they are good.

I have just fitted some "Forge" ones, make sure you get the "F" pipe also. I did mine whilst the engine was lowered and it still was abit of a pig.
More so for the hose crimps and lack of space to oinch them.
