MOTON Canister position ?

Im going to be fitting some Moton Clubsports to my car in the next couple of weeks so looking for pictures of where use have mounted the remote canisters. My car does not have a cage and is fitted with the Bose stereo upgrade behind the seats.
Also can anyone tell me what size of hole needs to be drilled for the hose to come through, so i can sort out a holesaw and grommets .

If I'm not mistaken there are some access holes and grommets already in the body for pass through. My tech used those when he did the install on my car. As for mounting in the rear, I have the same situation as you. My tech took out the speaker enclosure, turned it over and cut away a part of the molded plastic section between the speakers to allow room for the two canisters. This did not weaken the enclosure and now they fit underneath and are hidden. They are basically loose but have no room to go anywhere. Up front there are two diagonal braces to the right and left of the battery that my tech used zip ties to fasten the canisters to.

What spring rates did you select for the Motons and what is the intended use of your car?

Thanks for the info you wouldnt have any pictures of your install. I was thinking of mounting them ontop of the box tight into the back of the seat if the hoses are long enough.
My car will mostly be for road use but do plan on a few track days, i was looking at 450 front 700 rear but will talk with Stevo when i get the shocks.

Here is a link to a thread that shows some alternative mounting hardware:

http://forums.rennlist.com/rennforum...amps-pics.html

The 450/700 spring package is what I have on my car and the ride is still good on the street but I think 600/800 may be better for the track. I think about upgrading because my car is not my daily driver.

Of course you will mount them as you see fit but do you know that the speaker enclosure only has 2 long screws that hold it in place? It is very easy to remove and the reason I did it this way was to minimize outside interest in the car. Guess I'm paranoid. I don't have pictures of my install but could take some in the next day or two. PM me your email address for the pictures because I can't get my camera's pictures to post on this site.

Good point about keeping the canisters out of sight, ive had the Bose box out a few times while adjusting my JIC's and its quick to do so will more than likely just put them in the same place as you out of sight.

Got your PM. I'll take a picture of the cut-out in the speaker enclosure so you can see how it looks. My tech used a Dremel tool to cut it. I'll also take a picture of the front mounts.
