so one essentially like a booster pump similarly to their "add-a-pump" kit right?

Yep, I run twin 044's as well. Here are a couple pics of the fuel sysem install, this was cleaned up a bit but you can still see the twin AN's coming from the tank to the FPR and a set of send/receive lines in center tunnel to the motor.
Top view of twin AN lines from the twin 044's to the fuel pressure regulator.
Another view, single AN line on the right going to the motor
Twin 044's inside the tank

haha word.
I am wondering how much the two 044s setup can support on our cars on E85. I feel like I am maxing out my pumps and my current power level on 1.8Bar on E85, I wish our ECU could log fuel pressure. My surge tank setup was calculated to support 1400hp on twin 044 on gas, but then I factor in E85 which drops it to 1000hp at the flywheel. Say 10-15% drivertrain loss puts me right around where i am at the wheel now . There is plenty injector left in my 2150cc, they are under 50% Injector Duty Cycle.

Ha! I'd love to, but I am in Afghanistan and my car is in a undisclosed secret location, had to look on flickr for some pics.
Triple inlines, cool, nope, just the dual 044's for now.

Nick the $1400+ in parts just for the pump and control box. Then you need filters, HUGE lines, etc... Sadly in what I have in just parts for my 2345 setup probably 2-3x price of a multiple series of pumps. Then again I wanted to make sure I was 100% safe on my setup and would be good for large amount of power.

Ok last question , and id like anyone to chime in.
lets take the fuel system with the surge tanks compared to the proto style system which does not use a surge tank . pros and cons and why?

well, thanks Chris lol that answers my question. Guess ill go with the multiple pumps.

Im not sure but i think we have a baffle in our cell/tank.

thanks corey , looking to hear other view on this also.

What fuel line was the surge tank on? Would it be in place of a return line or just a "buffer" on the incoming side. I have the proto setup, curious as to the mechanics and physics of the surge setup.
The turbo/gt2's do have fuel tank baffles, their purpose is to always have a "pool" of fuel available at the pickups, havent seen this, just what I have read.
