In all reality though, when is it ever ENOUGH women. I could be with the hottest girl and still want to be with the next 10 I see

looks wise or performance wise? recent tests seem to put it quite a bit ahead in performance i think.

I would have to think long and hard about getting a "regular" 430 over a 360 Stradale though.

Always had a soft spot for the spyders. That dark grey (canna de fusille?) looks excellent with the red. I love the way it looks more than I did with the coupe.

My next sports car will be a Lambo Murcialago (sp?)
If you read all the boards that many here subscribe to and occasionally bash on , many of those same people keep coming back to " Mama " after flings with the Latin ladies .

Guess who will all suddenly have the first batch of DSG 997 Turbos even as they rag on the Porsche 911 brand the next 12-18 months ?

Either way your getting a good hand job...

If I buy one, it will be a garage queen where the original owner paid the dealer's ridiculous profit...and the car can be purchased for what it's worth...
You are right except that the "previous" buyer gets to buy the car at MSRP and not at a premium. New buyers can just wait and get one in 5 years and then become a "previous" buyer next time, or buy a "used" one at a premium, or buy a less "hot" model like a 575 or even a 612. Anyone one of these scenarios may help in becoming a "previous" customer.

I STARTED OFF WITH A 97 TURBO BACK IN THE DAYS.... was dumb enough to get wacked a few times getting into the roadster lambo... and then into a modena.... and guess what guys... Im back to a goo old TT. there is nothing like it. I had my affairs with those "Italians"... and let me tell you...
they don't put out.
BTW, has anyone been to Italy for a tour of the Lambo facility? I have! Its a SHACK... Ok... alright... a BARN ... located outside of Bologna where "locals" build them... I felt like I was back in my motherland visiting my gramma on the farm.
Ok- the Museum is nice... but the factory not.
One more thing- in 2001 at the unvailing of the new lambo.... I saw it.... the car did not start with all the media watching... I soon after that I disposed of my diablo.
..... in case some don't know...I will let in in a on a little secret.... a young german engineer designed the Murcelago.
Just my .02 cents.

There's no guarantee if you get hosed once ( depreciation on a new 575 ) that you are high enough on the dealer's MSRP delivery list to be a yearly " flipper " F430/F430 Spider/F430 CS and so on forever driving the cars basically " free " . You may be at the tail end of each version when the "flip" market is softer.
Even then, to maximize " flip " returns, you have to limit yourself to 250 miles per month -about one " loop " around your freeways or short local twisties per week and NO other trips even to the trendy restaurant Sat night or the Sunday AM bagle run. !
I get in my Turbo any time/any day/any weather I want and drive as much as I want anywhere . It's got " only " 15,000 miles after 2.25 years so I really need to drive it a lot more . A nice problem to have , IMO.
Sure it doesn't hold it's value vs an undriven Ferrari , but my investments more than make up for that . The Turbo is my stress relief- so what good for me would a car be if I had to worry about driving it too much.

Just go buy a maserati, that should get you waay up there on the list for the spider (it will at my dealer, anyway). You're still effectively payin the "premium" but at least you get to enjoy it a little more.....the mas is not that bad really.....

That's the main point here - you don't really flip the bought at MSRP V8s and drive " free" because most at one point , if you got on the " wagon" in the past decade, had to pay the $50-100K dealer " initiation " fee in the form of depreciation or mark up of 45 miles on the odometer " used " V8s . Even when wobegone slow/ill handling poorly screwed together 348s were sitting new in showrooms in '92-'93, begging for buyers, the depreciation hit those took off the showroom floor were pretty hefty . The 355 changed that , as buyers knew something signif had happened to the V8 cars from an engineering / technology standpoint.
