Alex, that guys power curve smells fishy. in all HP/TQ curves the hp and tq curves cross each other at 5250 rpm(5250 is the constant in the calculated relationship between hp and tq). In the curve you posted they not only do not cross each other but they mirror each other. Very strange. someone has played with this curve on photoshop as this is not possible

Guys,
I was asking that question much earlier back but no one could be ars*d to reply. ?? However I worked it out on my own. If you convert the TQ from NM to ft/lds I have found they do cross. Remember 721 nm is only 532 ft/lbs.
I have noticed his power is measured in KM. not KW or HP . What unit is that??
Frank

I don't know what to say about this but I know that his car is pulling HARD, he beat a 997tt with ecu-exhaust-intercoolers, GTR with HKS570 kit, Audi RS6 730hp from MTM...
I am not into the dynos

Just wiki'ed KM: Horsepower (HP) is the name of several units of measurement of power. .... the Polish koń mechaniczny (KM).

The Car is not overly powerful compared to some 996tt's and hasn't got a huge amount of TQ but if it only weighs 1200 kg ........Ouch, its going to be quick.
My last Rally car,Escort Rs Cosworth gp A had a 34mm turbo restrictor and would only pull about 330 bhp but about 400ft/lbs torque. It only weighed 1150 kg. That would give my 996tt a good run. Weight will, be the winning factor with this Car.
There is only one way to find out .........run it.
Frank

It would be very hard if you have only Tune+exhaust. (I guess from your sig.) Our car are full weight at 3600lb (1636kg.), you are 36% handicapped by weight. So say even he has 500 whp, you still need to have 681 whp for the same power/weight ratio. I really think you need 750whp to be in the game with him.
