The stock transmission in the Z06 is close-ratio from 1st to 4th, but 5th and 6th are extremely tall. So, if you are running a close race with another car through the first 4 gears, once you shift to 5th in the Z, the other car wil typically pass you at that time (unless you are racing another Z06).

I just raced the guy with the z06, he beat me from a roll by one and a half car, first we went form 60km/h and the second time from 80km/h, he is jumping quickly in front and is staying there. We raced from a dig too and I beat him because he is spinning the first gear.
We had a good time but I notice that my boost is not constant at 1.0 or 1.1bar and is dropping to 0.8-0.9-1.0, is oscillating, is that ok?!
I made a video but is crappy, I will try to edit and upload it tomorrow.
With some K24, flash and exhaust can I beat him?!

Matt's? Make sure he doesn't have nitrous still hidden in the car, he ran a ton of people that way, Raudel (RCNJ) being one of them, and myself as well.

There is no data on a K24 stock turbos with tune versus a K16 car. There are several stock K16 cars that run mid 11 second 1/4 with tuning exhaust, etc. A K24 car might best that by a slight bit. .2 seconds maybe.

you mean he raped both of you that way, i never knew of juice but i know that car has lightweight brakes, coilovers, tranny mounts, motor mounts but now its just has an intake, tune, and a driver who is 135 pounds.

You're talking about a C6 Z06? Lightened or not, a car like that would be no problem for a sorted 18G car (570+ whp). I suspect a 16G car would punish it as well.

I have destroyed two ZO6's easily with my K16 hybrids running 91 craptane. D33PBLUE has destroyed another one, and myself and D33PBLUE are exactly equal in the acceleration department. The wins were not by a little bit, but by a considerable amount, like 5-8 car lengths depending on the terminal speed. So with the proper turbos, and more importantly proper tuning, you can win. In fact, proper custom tuning might be all you need. Is your tune custom or off the shelf? if off the shelf, there is probably more power to be had.
