one car, one car and a half in front but as you can see in the video he had a half car in front of me at the third honk so he wasn't to fair here. I am fair and told him that from a roll he is faster but too bad that we didn't have enough space for more speed...

Alex the race wasn't that bad.You need to take a Red Bull before you race.
The ZO6 was ahead before the 3 honks and didn't disapear totally......I
still could hear the ZO6 runing.Next time,if you're awake you are going to get him.

It is so easy and cheap to make a corvette fast. After tracking my 07 z51 vette and passing every porsche on a HPDE advanced session it was apparent that either the porsche itself or its drivers were not up to par.
I hope it was the later, as I have just bought an 01 turbo. I feel so much better getting in and out of the porsche, but I hope this spills over to the track as well. They are so different in their approach to speed, it is hard to compare the two. I am hoping it is the driver who makes the difference.

Alex, not at all, you know, it's like being at a stoplight next to a KIA or Prius and you roll off easy and go on your merry way, while the kia/prius accelerates like hell and pulls a car on you. Then turns off. you never raced him, but he goes on his forum and says that he just beat a porsche, vette, ferrari, whatever, because he pulled away from it. No different here. There are people at a track that can't drive a good car at all. The joker above could go to the ring and take a ZO6 and drive there and Sabine Schmitt could race him in a Taurus 4 door SHO and she would wipe the floor with him. Does that make the ZO6 slower than a Taurus?

I just whatched your vid in the other thread and you took advantage of the kids that were takig DRIVING LESSONS at that track.
