BBS LM's OR BBS CH-R's
Hi guys,
I have a difficult decision to make. I bought a set of BBS LM's for my 996 tt that came off of a NB 996. The tire sizes are correct - 235/35/19 (front)(25.5 overall diameter) and 275/30/19 (rear)(25.6 overall diameter) to not ruin the diff. However, the rears are a 19x10 with the incorrect offset which makes the wheels looks sort of tucked into the wheel well. I can either go with:
BBS CH-R's - 4 Wheels @ 2700 + tires
BBS LM's - 2 new rear wheels @2616 + tires
I will end up spending about the same amount to either get new rear LM's or a brand-new set of CH-R's.
Do you think the look of the LM's are worth it? or do you prefer the look of the CH-R's instead? I have always loved the LM's and swore that if I ever bought a Turbo, I would get a set. After looking at the CH-Rs, i'm not so sure.

Do the LMs currently look really odd? IMO, it doesn't make much sense to buy another 2 LMs bc you won't have a set.
If they do look noticeably odd, then sell the set, and just buy whichever one you like.

Have you looked at LM-R's? I think they are the best looking of the three. Course, I sell them all so I think they all look great!

LM's are my favorite wheels regardless of the make..If you don't mind spacers, maybe throwing on a pair in the rear could bring the rear wheels out to your liking? The rear lip size on the 19x10+45's and 19x11+50's look identical anyways..I saw my friends 993TT with the same widths/offsets as your LM's on 315/25/19's and it looked GOOD Here's a few shots that might help tip the scale (some are photoshops some aren't):
19x10+45
19x11+50

I wanted LM's...
but end up with HRE's... LM's also covered my requirements as I wanted "18's because the streets of Mexico are just terrible... I know, I know... "lower it" but truly, Mexico is not for the faint of heart when it comes to driving conditions...
but taking in consideration the prices of these "18's either LM's and/or HRE perhaps I would make a sacrifice jump to "19's and do the CH's or Ultraleggeras.
