In all honesty though, Chicago imo, is one of the greatest cities on earth in the spring, summer, and early fall. When the weather breaks, there are women everywhere, oak street beach is hopping, boating, and of coarse who can resist a Cubs game. Chicago is simply the greatest when the warm weather is around. Now winter on the other hand.......................

Get it done buddy. My friend who owns a BMW dealership tells me the cars are getting hot, he has sold 4 or 5 in the last two months. He keeps buying them at auction and selling them for good money. He is telling me that values are actually slightly higher now than they were 6 months ago.

I dunno about that. I know one of the owners of Braman up here and he cant sell the Z8 to save his life. They have 2 Alpina's that have been sitting on different parts of the showroom/lot for over a year. I do love yours though, the Z is the only BMW I have never driven let alone ridden in. And yes by all means come to S Fla in August OMG, its 95 deg and 90% humidity , that or hurricanes.

My friend just sold an 03 with 2000 miles, non-alpina for $110k, sold a 2002 with 5700 miles for $102.5k, and sold an 2001 with over 10k miles for $95k, all in the last two weeks. The alpina for some reason never sold that well...........I think its the auto trans, but, who know. Anyway, I guess my point was only that at least at his dealership, he was telling me that their was a significant increase in interest for Z8's in the last couple months. Last year at this time he was loaded up with new Alpina's and a couple used Z8 that he held for a long time, then, all of a sudden, he told me that the interest in them has picked up dramatically.

OK thats sounds right, they did seem to get loaded up last year and none of them were moving, esp the Alpina. I agree that the auto may be a playa in this, that plus the extra $$ for nothing special, is it right that the motor in the Alpina was pulled from the X5 4.6 due to more Tq. I will have to swing by Braman here in West Palm Bch to see if the Z is still there. That cars lines are timeless, I may pick one up wwhen/if I could afford it.

Its not bad in the summer the city is nice.. But it still lacks the tropical feel no crystal clear water on the beachs. The nightlife isnt far away from Miami though. Sometimes the weather isnt that great in the spring or fall or even summer for that matter. Such as 2004 I remember driving with the seats on heat in June when it was 56 out.
