Fuel system matter
Hi guy's
As I'd explain on another topic, I 'd some noise's became from the fuel tank and /or carbon canister purge system
The fuel pump noise I heard was hight on volume similar than a buzzer, what is strange is that I heard this noise only after had running engine during 20 minutes around and not at the beginning of run .
The second noise is less important but near the fuel tank cap fitter (on the wing right side) probably near carbon canister area and when I open the tank , the noise diseapear completly similar as pressure matter inside the tank
Thank's for you'r reply

Fast FWD are you referring to the venturi tubes? I had one fail on me last year.
There are a bunch of pics here. They look kind of like an octopus.

Nice links. I replaced all the rubber hose in my tank this weekend. (the straight out of the pump and the u-hose)
at 65k miles, 2002 MY, the hose was soft but no signs of splitting.

Thank's and for the "u" hose ????

Of course, one can't use the factory 'routing' without the 'U-turn" but it's just fuel line. I didn't bother taking the whole assembly completely out, so it was tricky getting the crimp clamp pliers down into the tank.

I think that standard fuel hose will fail quickly in the tank. It is not designed to be submerged. The Gates 27093 hose is submersible. It comes in 1 ft lengths. Google for suppliers. There will be several.

Correct. Standard isn't. *however* this makes me curious if the stock hose is technically 'submersible'. Mine was soft, soft enough to warrant replacement, even when I saw zero signs of it splitting.
