Rick:

Please share with us Fabcars set-up information. What springs? What shock settings did you use? Did they change any bushings, arms, or pickup points on the suspension?

Nate thanks for the compliment, I wish we had more time to hang out but I had to head back to Cincy late Saturday.

Shock/spring settings are very subjective due to driving style, tire compound, and level of grip at a specific track. With that said my springs were still a bit soft in the rear even for bumpy Sebring. For me the front range is between 700- 1100 and the rears 900-1400. That setup is what works for me with either Pirelli or Dunlop slicks.

The carbon dash I believe came from KMR in Wisconsin.

I have the moton suspension with new spring rates 775 front and 1075 rear and it is just about perfect . my previous spring rate was 600 front 900 rear and that was to soft.

Rick,

That is quit a spread on spring pressures. With my JRZ four ways I am using 850 pounds front and 1050 pound rears.

Rick:

Did you simply pull fuses to disable PSM?

Did Fabcar do anything hairy to the suspension?

What Moton's are you running? Clubsports or one of the 3-4 way racers?

That was my question, how did you disconnect the PSM? I know others have tried, is the only way to do it to disconnect the ABS as well?

The PSM was disconnected and removed from the car. The ABS was disconnected and removed from the car. I switched over to a dual master cyclinder allowing me to adjust brake bias(works great compared to stock bias settings).

All fuses were pulled that were related to ABS, PSM, and anything no longer needed for the car.

The e-gas is now defeated as a result of the above mentioned.

At Sebring I had on 2 occasions a CEL, both times were from idling to the grid the first part of the week. The last 2 days no cel's. Side note: There wasn't any performance loss while the CEL was on and when I got back from the session I simply hit the battery quick disconnect and the CEL never came back on.

My Motons are the Clubsport double adjustable's which seem more than adequate. Lex Carson was a big help at Moton!

The ECU program was a 93 octane program but I still ran unleaded GT 104.

that has got to be one of the best looking, purpose-built tt's i have ever seen. i'd love to see more pictures of that car and i am sure everybody else would too. good to see a serious machine, rather than most of the bling that haunts this site. please, more pix!

Dual master cylinder w/ cockpit adjustable bias. Sorry the car's a little dusty from Sebring yet.
