As promised.. we have the car back in the shop, engine pulled and we just finished fabricating the turbo inlet pipes, we made a second set to jig so we can produce these for customers as well. The exhaust we will be making next, should be ready to go in the next week or so. Here are some pics of the engine pull and the turbo inlets being fabbed and installed...

My Porsche tech and I planning the attack..

Lowering the engine out of the car..

And its out!!

My fabricator hard at work..

Turbo Inlet pipes fabricated and put in place..

More pics to come when we do the exhaust, then its back to the dyno!! Stay tuned!!

You are preaching to the choir about those 3071's! We used that turbo for our project. Of course, we got them through Todd at Protomotive. He worked his magic on them before we got them, though.

As a result, the dyno sheet was boring, but the results were AMAZING. That is why we are running them for the TX Mile.

Congrats on your choice! With the proper set up, you will be more than a little pleased!

Enjoy!

Great job Chris. You make taking the engine out look like a piece of cake. I take it you plan to re-dyno after it's all said & done?

those are stock rims, chris had them painted or pwder coated for me..Had champion 19s on my other 02tt and 01911, i kept blowing out back tires while driving (side wall dissentigrate) , expensive and very inconvenient..im staying with these rims for now based on past experience! Spending the $$$ on WHP and fixing ghetto grey interior ridding dated radio, cup holders etc..

in 18" and gun metal finish? I would trust and follow Chris's recomendation. Very reasonable $$

Great, sorry to hijack thread, I know DGreen is running them as well, shoot me a Pm once you get them and let me know what you think. Def having these pipes put on as Chris has always said a weak point for the 3071's. Does it ever stop??
