It's Ascot brown. The car is the same combo as mine (Seal Grey/Ascot brown) save for that one has yellow seat belts which look a little heinous to me.

Ben I am really considering Atlas Grey for my 997 and would love to do a different interior then the plain jane black...that is a great color...I think with his seatbelt choice he was going for the brake caliper match however like you said does not work...

If I'm not mistaken (I probably am) Ascot is the only color choice re: the exterior or interior of the car which is exclusive to the CGT.

ben,
i really like the texture on the Ascot. it'll also probably hold up better than regular smooth leather Porsche uses anyway.

Thanks CJV and Ben, I still cant get over what an outstading color combo that is...they also made that exterior silver they offer exclusive to the CGT and they as well used it on the 40th aniv 996..

So Ascot or Terra Cota is only avail for CGT interior?

yep cjv, you're right (i called mckenna to see - the ascot and terracota can look pretty similar in photos but is very disquishable in person). terracota is available on non-CGTs for 05 while ascot is not.

incidentally they say the car is still available.

my ascot is darker than the more "pumkin" looking terracota:

exclusive to the CGT means they do NOT use it for the 40th anniversary 911 and whatever "special edition" boxster with GT silver and cocoa interior recently. as well, i think terracota is on the order list for all 987, 997 models from 05 on, no?

ps. they also put that color on turbo wheels.

I understand what i had meant was what they had initially called the CGT silver they used on the aniv 996 and it is different then Arctic which is what I used to have. And yes I think you may be correct on the fact that it is now an available color choice on other models.

As far as the interior goes this is only CGT available as this exact interior color correct....I saw the coco or whatver brown that was and did not like it at all.

no, as arling said, terracota is now availble in 05 997s and Boxsters for $3700 (but ascot is not available in anything except the CGT).

yes that is a picture of my ascot - not terracota.

you'll definetely wanna see terracota before committing because imo it looks pretty pumpkiny. fwiw, i really liked that cocoa on the "special" whatever boxster, but see that you didn't.

i believe this is a close up of terracota which looks more orange still in real life and i think becomes overwhelming with the dash:
