If you want a dedicated track car, get a Radical.

I prefer my GT3 over that rice rocket any day. 996TT is a bit heavy and numb to be a fun track car.

How much for the new SR8 Radical, it should be superfast!

Should be under 1:30 at Laguna with a good driver and maybe mid 1:20's at Willow?

Notice I said "stock" turbo. I know what I am talking about here. The 4g63 engine (and its modifications) has been around for over 15 years, now. The fact still remains that you can make any car fast with enough money, time, and modifications.

I didn't say that the 4G63 wasn't reliable. The rest of the car, however....

Give it time. A few of my friends have them and while they handle very well, the rust and build quality seem to lack in many areas.

no offense but dont you think you should've been more specific then??? you said mitsubishi's reliability....well that can mean alot when you are referring to a car.....most will obviusly take it as the main part of a car, the engine....

i love how the conversation always changes to reliability though....in your sig your second car is a land rover, they are notoriuos for problems and score low on all reliability tests done by most sources......so why would you buy it???

the bottom line is this, you can make anything fast.....no matter if it's a $30K sti or a $130 996tt......

the one guy made a great point though.....if it's at the track why the hell do you care what it looks like?? your going for speed anyway.....

i'd rather track an evo and have a 996tt as my daily.....and once i get done a run at the track with my evo, say that was fast man, but your car is ugly....then turn to him and say, well my daily is a 996tt.....

Per what you said, people make assumptions. You have to be careful when doing that. I did not realize that I had to be more specific. I will next time.

The Discovery II was (is) extremely reliable. The Range Rover of that time period, however, seemed to have the troubles and got all of the (bad) press.
