I prefer my GT3 over that rice rocket any day. 996TT is a bit heavy and numb to be a fun track car.

Should be under 1:30 at Laguna with a good driver and maybe mid 1:20's at Willow?

Not from I have seen lately, I have seen them go as fast down the straights at several tracks as TT's, 135mph+, now with the cams and bigger turbos they don't need to run more than 20psi to get 450hp+ like the smaller turbos..True they won't probably do 185mph but how many TT's go faster than 160mph on the track anyway..

i love how the conversation always changes to reliability though....in your sig your second car is a land rover, they are notoriuos for problems and score low on all reliability tests done by most sources......so why would you buy it???
the bottom line is this, you can make anything fast.....no matter if it's a $30K sti or a $130 996tt......
the one guy made a great point though.....if it's at the track why the hell do you care what it looks like?? your going for speed anyway.....
i'd rather track an evo and have a 996tt as my daily.....and once i get done a run at the track with my evo, say that was fast man, but your car is ugly....then turn to him and say, well my daily is a 996tt.....
