I have an 02 Tip. Stay away from the navigation option. It's a CD based system and you can't buy updated discs anymore.

Durango Kid has a spectacular aura aboutDurango Kid has a spectacular aura about
the cup holders were different
the stereo wasn't as nice
there was no glovebox

Supposedly the 996.2 ('02+) cars have more chassis rigidity.

djtan, they didn't tell me the 01 yr was a BAD car. They just said that at my budget I should definitely be looking at '02 or newer as they seem to be more in demand.

Thanks for the info on the NAV, didn't really need it so it wasn't a necessity.

The stereo upgrade between yrs sounds like a plus.

Thanks everyone. I'm out today to see a few cars here in S. Fla but have my eye on some units in other states. Might be on a plane Monday.

There are no cup holders in my '01, "just a shiny dick with two chairs in it"

Correct on the stereo / glovebox - you can put the gloves in the side pocket though.

Chassis rigidity is a myth.
