I need some 60-130 help...

Hi Guys. I just got the new Android application Dynomaster by Trackaroo with an adjustable GPS based timer. It does 60-130 times and while I know this application isn't valid for the general public I figured I can use it to practice.

Can anyone explain the rules of 60-130 racing. I know it must be on less than 3 degrees downgrade and I am guessing brake boosting is involved?

If anyone has any experienced advice please chime in.

The only rules that I know of are that the grade must be less than 3% and you must use a PBox or DBox for official posting. Other than that most people floor it in third at about 35 mph hit a quick shift and ride 4th to the limiter. Or you can try the complete run in fourth. Some have also had good results starting in second.

After several inconsistent runs it would seem the android gps application does not process as fast as the P-car goes. It updates from 122 to 125 and held each speed for over a second. I am still in the dark on my 60-130 times, they could be anywhere between 6.4 and 7 something. However, I did learn that my car pings over 130 in 4th gear, I can still powershift and there is a reason you can only use a P-box for official times!

More soon to come.

Pbox operates at 10 Hz, meaning it collects 10 data points/sec. So it is accurate to 0.1s. Your phone app is clearly slower and therefore less accurate.
