???
Who is doing the decision making at Porsche these days ?
What would have been so bad to call this car a Boxster ala "boxster copue" ? Cayman sounds like the name hyundia was going to use before is went with the Tuscan ?
ohh well......

The car is very impressive in person. Can't discuss when or where I saw it but I spent the better part of 2 1/2 hours analyzing the car and it rocks. I'm not going to replace my TT-Cab but if the price point is right I would get it as a second. The pictures don't do it justice. Much better looking in person.

some photos are cool, some are just ok. i question the logistics of Porsche bringing this car into the market. it will probably sell, but to what end will it affect Porsche overall? kind of odd it's b/t the boxster and 911...
i don't like the Cayman because it sounds like "Caveman". whatever happened to cool names like "911" and "GT2"?

I could care less if Porsche calls it "Cayman" or "Boxster Coupe." Silly names abound in the automotive industry. Performance, not model designation, separates the spectacular from the mundane. This car looks promising.

Darren... I've read the subject 1/2 dozen times today while on 6peed, and I can't help by laugh every time I see your subject line:
"This Cayman is making me mad !"
