Michelin PS2

I apologize if this has been asked before. I need to buy new front tires. Discounttire lists several different version of the PS2. XL, N1-N4

What are the differences besides the price and which one should I get?

Thank you for your help.

The N rating is the certification program that Porsche runs with tire companies. Basically just says that the tire passed testing to be run OEM on the cars. The "N4" is a later generation of testing then the N2. I run N4's up front and N2's in back without any problems.

All of the N series are great for our cars.

So, are the N tires made out of a different compound than the non N tires? The thread appears to be identical.

I have been told by sales at TireRack that the side wall stiffness may be quite different...stiffer for N I think. I'd confirm this...
