911tuning 2.5" intake piping released
Going back to 2001 this was one of the first mods I did along with my K24s. Back then it was the FVD version. I recently set up a few guys with this 2.5" hard piping on a few cars with A28s, K124/18g, as well as A3071s... We found at least 40 rwhp gains as well as 300 to 400 rpm quicker spool on one of the set ups. I am not reinventing the wheel... a few similar set ups are available with 6speed vendors... just wanted to share my version with you guys and it will fit without a problem...

Well with that we have bendable hose application... Ill show pics soon...
thats the point since not everyone wants to convert to our after market maf...
We strongly suggest taking the motor... something you do when doing a clutch job for example...

Never did one with the motor in... its touch to get the stock piece out....
never tried it on on tip but have we a bendable hose solution... from reading posts the tip is bigger and no room for the hard piping.
this is it and one client has it on with a tip...

In my experience (I made my own hard pipes) and by looking at the pics, it should be doable with the engine in. You'll have to lower it about 5" and I had to mini-sawzall the driver's side stock piping out -but the cut will be way below where the fitting is welded on so the core should still be usable. I would estimate a solid day if you've got the proper equipment ready to go -it's very tight in there and you'll have to get creative with ways to get to the clamps. Obviously pulling the engine is the ideal way.
And yeah, awesome looking piece at a good price, this would be my #3 mod (behind a flash & exhaust).
