I think endtank issues are not IC related at all....the only reason the endtanks explode like that is because of a backfire into the intake IMO..the endtanks are simply the weakest point in the pressure plumbing system..

my 2 cents

I drove my new 997.2 intercoolers at VIR this past weekend with temps in the 90's both days, and the seat of the pants boost was kicking during the whole of our 30 minute sessions, no drop off toward the later part of sessions as with the stock intercoolers. I'm happy with my purchase, all the more so considering the savings these intercoolers represent over aftermarket.

I have been having my lower boost hose come off recently at 1.6 bar. Can someone please let me know which hoses they are using on their 996TT? I am using AP hoses, but I think they may just need to be adjusted. Does anyone have any tips on install (how to correctly adjust the lower boost hoses for maximum hold).

Thank you!

Yes they are the same.

More IC data from a roadcourse application:

6½ laps yesterday. That half comes from starting from Breidscheid's gate. Two best were 9:08 and 9:14, shocks set to full soft...Engine worked perfectly, according to datalogs highest IAT was 48C ( OAT +18-20C ). For example at Schwedenkreuz crest 222 kmh / 1.3 bar boost / 37C IAT.
Note that this car was running custom ducts as it started life as a C2.
