Lexus IS F - WTH

lol, I know I know... I have to redeem myself. But it is a fast car. He is beating up on a lot of cars in town! I have motivation to get my car in top shape now!

I am sure they are. But not faster than an amg e55 with 15 psi pulley and huge IC. I decimated that car by about 6 car lengths and I was behind him when we took off.
here is an isf with a 225 shot. look at his trap speed. There is another vid of one running a 118 mph trap speed. not bad, but no where near what you can do. with your current setup your trap should be in the mid- high 120's min. No slam to the IS-F, as it is a nice car, but not on your level.

here is E55 with pulley and tune, no IC

If that ISF is running a 225 shot then there is something VERY wrong with it. The vid below is of an ISF that has a 125 shot...he let off at 6600 rpm (therefore the low trap speed and likely a tenth or two in the 1/4)

you are right, the other one supposedly having 225 shot is crazy.
however, this one does not have a 125 shot either. or if it does, then it has other mods to give it more power. If you look at the specs on this guys car he's got 500 whp, if you take 20% loss or so from an automatic trans with tc(a stock one dynoed 333 rwhp which is 20% loss). which means this car is around 625 bhp. So the NOS shot on this one was more like a 200+ shot. not 125 or something else has been done to this car if the nos is indeed 125, as evidenced by the rwhp. so a true 125 shot will be much slower.

I recently test-drove an IS-F and a DCT M3 back to back an I actually preferred the IS-F. The M3 is so severely lacking in torque it was almost pitiful. The IS-F however, has a little a$$ behind it. I thought it was a great car.
But even one running a 125 shot should stand no chance against a properly running K24/18G 996.

There is almost 100 ft-lbs difference in torque between the two cars. Big difference. The IS-F has a lot more torque.

OK, OK. I have some work to do to get my car up to speed. Dang summer has been so hot I haven't been in the garage much. It was 89 here today, so the heat is still on.
I need to plug and check for leaks, tune the EBC, and datalog. Will try to get that done this week or next and run again!

You are incorrect...the ISF in the VID I posted has 500 whp. Stock they make 360 rwhp, plus exhaust/intake = 390-400 whp, plus a 125 shot = right around 500 whp.
Also, this transmission does NOT lose 20%...more like 14-15% as in SPORT mode it locks the converter in gears 2+ so it's like a true manual...

Glad you liked the isf. Im actually the owner of the 125shot one. The IS F is a great daily driver and not too bad in the speed department. But as of friday my car is back to stock. Ive had fun with the car but im actually looking to get a turbo 2 seater.

520-550ish whp...depending on everything...
My 18g car made 525awhp with injectors, but only at 1.1-1.2 bar. Injectors were just insurance at that point.

Was that with meth or without?

Why are you getting rid of the F? (I guess, why switch out of it?)
