I love my r888s. I did a lot of research and think they are the best compromise between real street tires and slicks. I have driven them in the rain with no problems at all. The noise does not bother me but then again my daily driver is an f250, those tires are loud.

how long do they last?

I'm done with the absolute horror that were Kumho Ecsta SPTs on my car and am considering going back to continentals.

I dont get much more than 5-6kmiles on my rears - what can I expect with these R888s?

Nitto NT 01 they dead hook from a 40 punch and of course handle like the R compound track tire that they are.

Just don't get caught in the rain.

Nitto NT 01 are great tires, better then R888's but much expensive.

You have very good sets of tires in bothe cars.
