Yup, that was us. Thats us driving Rakjoes Murci and 996TT, and footage from the Autorox show. That is also my car leaking, we had to put a diaper underneath for the oil!

 

Where was it leaking from? That seemed like a crapload of oil. Also, that Zonda was something else (as was the Shelby convertble)!

 

Ben, you posted the video specificly to show the oil. We werent originally going to use my SV for the show as we had already begun to take the car appart. The leak is from the valve cover gasket, which the seal had broken when the valve cover was taken off. The car was also missing the winglet, seat pods, and engine cover at the show, as those were already off being reproduced in carbon. It also had no brakes.

The ZOnda was incredible, the Shelby i didnt pay any attention to.

 

?? Allan you are far too paranoid. If you'll notice my posts with Kenny over at Ferrari Chat along with the time I posted the video link here, no one had any idea who's car was leaking. Further, you'll see on Ferrari Chat that I thought it was the Turbo. It really isn't always about you.

I realize Allan's car is older, but were you guys pushing em pretty hard given both the oil leak and interior parts falling off? Is it a high mileage car? That sort of stuff seems odd given how reliable Allan has said all his Lambos have been.

That is very unusual for that much oil to pour out of any car. Oil should never leak at all much less in gobs like that. Is this dumping of oil (out of failed gaskets???) something normal with Lambos? I've never heard of such a thing. That kind of leak requires repair or replacement of something.

Allan, those guys approached me to use my CGT. It was an inconvenient time for me so I declined. After my Steve Maxwell experience, I was wondering if they had abused the cars in their care for the show (didn't know that was you in the video until later when Kenny said so). Hence, I really wanted to get to the bottomline on the cause of your leak. As well, people have asked you in the past and you have always said you had no problems out of your Lambos. Therefore, it was curious - especially when Kenny acted like it was some minor routine thing.
