ok so back to the modded turbo stuff....i did the step by step thing it was fun over the course of 3.5 years learned a lot however it cost a whole bunch more... i just helped out a friend install a proto air intake system(fenderwell style) with stock turbos (k16) we also did some 3 inch evo style ic's that todd k welded the dv's into we used the stock MAF sensor along with a proto tune all for around 10k... this car is about as fast as my car that i had around 30k into going the step by step method....
on the power transfer side of things i burned up 4 clutches doing the step by step method my buddy went with the clutch i ended up with(clutch masters fibertuff on one side and kevlar on the other)
1/3 the cost 90% of the fun

I love the Gallardo, but I will never buy one. I just don't like being gawked at all the time. The Turbo attracts enough attention to me, which I don't like. I like stealth.
