AMS k16 Billet's... Who's got them on their cars?
#31
Thinking of pulling the trigger on a turbo upgrade for my 2003 tiptronic 996tt, thinking of going with either the switzer k16/16 or the ams k16/16 set up... anyone here have any feedback on either or both that can help me with my choice.. I already have a FVD flash, switzer exhaust and new DV's.....car is just for street use.. thank you

Ken ( 996ttalot) owner of Nine Excellence http://www.nineexcellence.com/ , is doing a K16 billet tip car mod for a customer . Not sure what they will call it as I think its a new development in association with Mark ( Markski). Perhaps he will enlighten us on the kit once it is done. Will no doubt be 9E???
I believe the customer is having the large bore inlet piping, 3 1/2 inch IC's, uprated injectors, K16 Billets, 100 cell Miltek, DV's, k&N filter and a tune.
would be interesting to see the figures on 99 ron.
I believe the box has already been to MKB.

528 AWHP, 612 AW Tq....100oct.
The car is sick with 93 oct....just put in 100 oct, havent driven it yet. Too fast for the street unless you live in Kansas...if 0.1bar is showing on gauge there is NO Lag, just butt pulling power...

I have been holding off on pulling the trigger for a few reasons... 1 being I dont want to have to rebuild my tip transmission to either hold the power or from blowing it up leaving it as a stock tip transmission.. would love to hear from some guys with tiptronics on if the transmission is holding up etc... thanks again

yes been going back and forth on pulling the trigger because I was not using the 996tt while I had my lamborghini, and then not living in Florida where the 996tt is located...
