if it is Johns car, I have seen it in person. It is mint condition and has the oakley sequential shifter. Here is a vid when it was a gt900 and the vid shows it running at Bandimere with a DE of 8500 ft.

yup. Considering that you loose easily .7 seconds at this altitude and close to 8-10 mph, yeah that was an impressive run. That also was a 95 degree day.

For comparison, I have heard of a stock 996tt running 107 mph trap speed. That's about 8 mph less than at sea level.

Thats a very nice ride. I believe that bryant and this car are the only two 996 gt2s running the gt1000 kit. Joe and me are the ones with 996tt gt1000 packages. Although we are all making alot more than 1000hp lol.

It is my car. After a long year it's finally done. Just in time for Colorado's winter! I may keep it with EVOMS this winter and offer it up for sale or trade. If it doesn't sell I'll bring it back to Denver in the spring and have some fun.

Robert, from EVOMS, has been terrific. I was very frustrated by the lack of communication before Robert came on board. He's been honest, sends me constant updates, and spent weeks dialing things in. Thank you Robert, it's greatly appreciated.

The car is midnight blue with natural leather interior. Currently it has recaro racing seats installed. It also has a cage, moton's and an Oakley sequential shifter. It's scary fast. I've put more money into the car than I actually paid for the car. It's a sickness! Mileage is about 11,000. The new engine has no miles on it with the exception of miles driven during the tuning process.

It's a high powered car that can be driven every day.

Saw this car yesterday while dropping my car off at evo for a clutch and gt2 slave conversion. It indeed is stunning! I totally agree about Robert, he is awesome.
