Price is the same either way, but don't forget if you link to our websight from the link at the top of the sponsor row here, 6Speed gets a percentage of the sale. Buying from us supports this sight.

And yes, I get paid too. That's my cut for hanging out here and helping you guys whenever I can.

The Rib and the PS2 are not at all alike. Most Porsche PS2 sizes are N-spec, and the Rib is a Porsche-only tire. But both do carry an asymetrical (as opposed to a directional) tread design, which does quiet a tire down..at least for awhile.

You can expect any tire you buy for this car to get a bit noisier as it wears, that's just the way it is. Of what we carry, the PS2 seems to be reported as the quietest out there.
Not quite right, Damon. The PS2s are assymetrical and stamped " outside" on sidewall. The PS Ribs are directional ( subtle but you can see tread blocks pointing forward on the two edges ) and carries an arrow with direction of rotation on the sidewall.

Whoops. Good call.

When I answered that I was thinking in terms of noise, and both of the Michelins have the wide circumfirential treads that run around the tire. They help greatly to reduce noise as opposed to the basic Pilot Sport, which only has the narrow single band in the center.

But you are correct. The PS2 is asymetrical, the Rib isn't.

Pzero Rossos are much smoother and quieter than the OEM Pzeros (asimetricoes). I haven't compared them to Michelins.
