It's not that the 18g's are laggy it's just probably more power then you want without an amazing suspension to keep it in line.

A 16g mod will be the least expensive way to get more power if you have K16's. That option should be about 1200$ or so for the turbo mods. The k16billet will be very similar to an alpha28 tial turbo. At around 5-6k for them, these will no doubt make more power but may make more then what your suspension is ready for.

Is this because of race fuel ????
Thanks
These cars just love boost I guess. The race fuel just makes it safe to go up in boost. Both low and high were ran on the same fuel - so just boost increase is all! A little boost goes a long way!

How did your AFRs look on that 1.3 bar pass? (No scale on dyno plot)

Obviously, changing injectors+tune would be some low hanging fruit for you to get another 50 whp or so...
AFR from the dyno was around 11.5 at the top end. Logging prior to dyno shows AFRs (lambda) in the .79 - .86 range. So looks like fueling is working well and I could probably turn up the boost more, but don't want to risk it on just a FPR!

Yeah, just sucks I put a clutch in almost exactly a year ago and only has 5-6k miles on it. My mechanic was somewhat conservative I think and it can't handle the power. Plus he tells me I drive a manual like a 16yo girl!

What do you have on your car? Throw it on a dyno! I was just curious and wanted to give it a go!

I also just put plugs in and boost leak tested, so things should have been pretty near 100%

Nice. Great 24/18G low mod set up.
Get some IC's and turbo inlets on there next and she will fly!

Great numbers!

How is the auto motion shop/ service? I'm in Cincinnati and I'm considering taking my S4 down there for a dyno run as they're semi local. I've heard positive and negative things about the shop. I'm hoping to see 450awhp out of my S4 and want to make sure it's in good hands before I turn them loose with my car.

I've got the same set up (24/18), Europipe II (100 cell), but I've also got the inlets, Forge DVs, Markski's ICs, and injectors on a 2wd Gt2. I'm running 100 octane at 1.3 bar. Do you think it would post a 600 rwhp on a dyno (dynojet)? Based on my lamba (.78 to .82), I should have Markski turn up my boost to 1.4. What do you guys think?
