Exclamation Concerning OT (Off Topic) posts........

Gentlemen (and GT2 girl)

We've created an OT section under General. All OT threads will be moved there. Please make your OT posts there UNLESS it is car related. If you have an OT post regarding other makes and models, that will in the forum you made that post in.

Thanks in advance,

Shank

I don't think the off topic section will work unless we keep it towards the top of the page where people can see it when they click on the site ... having to scroll down and find sections has proven to kill the sections activity ... just a suggestion?

Will do.....I agree with Dario...To make it a little more accessible would be nice. 100% Porsche car talk can be unhealthy according to my mental hygene counselor.....

Generally, OT Topics would be deleted, stating its OFF TOPIC. Instead, instead of that, you can post it by going out of the way to make the post. I think it would work. If it doesn't, it'll be deleted. I think that will work

I think you missed the point Shank ... I'm talking about posting the OFF TOPIC section closer to the top of the sections page not inside the 996TT section ... no one will scroll all the way down and go into off topic ... maybe put it after the turbo and 996 sections ... ?

That's how you know you've made it as a messageboard, having to shuttle OT stuff elsewhere. Seen it before and it does lessen the viewership of the OT thread, but if that's what the owner's want, so be it. My suggestion would be to allow members to list the title only on the main board, no replys allowed there and the thread itself could then be anywhere so interested parties could follow a link or just go into the OT section.
