agree. after over 50 years of driving/living on mulholland from where it begins in the Hwd hills all the way to PCH at Ventura county line. I know just about every mile of the 26 miles of mulholland.

i lost my house to the '18 fires which was ON the snake. great roads, indeed. i miss them.

my favorite run though was up stunt road and down piuma back to cold creek canyon/malibu canyon. i lived there too lol

Brings back memories. I remember starting at Topanga Canyon almost every day and going to the beach. Some of those canyons are straight up dangerous with off camber turns that check you real quick.

indeed. the best roads are the ones that have 15mph right/left handers. that's where i really got to learn the car. less so the "more open" roads of mulholland proper. but no doubt. some of the best and most world famous roads ever for porsche's. steve mcqueen knew.

reminds me all of a song from my youth:

"Those were the days, my friend We thought they'd never end We'd sing and dance forever and a day We'd live the life we choose We'd fight and never lose Those were the days, oh yes, those were the days."

Oh, well.
