Help with pedal installation
I received the pedals from Gert and they look great. However I do not know how to install them. It looks as though the rubber covers must be removed and holes must br drilled. Any help would be much appreciated.

You remove the rubber from the brake and clutch and drill holes for mounting. You drill two holes in the old gas pedal and bolt the alum to it. You also bolt the dead pedal over the old one if you bought the dead pedal.

I've installed 2 sets from Gert and it is very easy. Just make sure you have a good drill with good metal bits and a small open end wrench for the lock nut. A work light also helps too.
Dead Pedal - easiest install. I believe the instructions say to remove the plastic dead pedal first. I left it on. Just align, drill 3 small holes, and screw on.
Gas Pedal - it's made of plastic so it's easy to drill. Again, align over the existing pedal and mark the holes. I drilled one hole, screwed the bolt through the washer and nut (not tight), and then drilled the other holes so that nothing slips. You could also use a clamp. Make sure you have the correct size open end wrench and it will be much easier.
Brake and Clutch Pedals - remove the rubber covers. The brake pedal is plastic and the clutch pedal is metal (I may have them mixed up). Because they're at different angles, it's hard to align them (height off of floor) perfectly. I installed the brake first, but made sure the clutch is similarly placed, before I drilled the brake pedal. Do the same thing for the clutch pedal. Because it is metal, it is more difficult to drill. Again, make sure you have good bits. Drill a small pilot hole first then drill a large hole the size you need. It's easier to depress the clutch pedal with one hand then drill so that there is no play in the clutch.
Just take your time. They look great installed. Here's a pic:

Again thanks

On mine I had ti use custom screws as the ones that came from RUF were a bit too short....Besides, I wanted all screws on all pedals to match (all pedals except dead came with phillips head screws...). See my sig for pics..
