36/40 is a great place to start for you at that setup, and you might not need any adjustment at all.

i run the same sizes and since converting to rwd, have opted for a bit less psi in the rear to maximize the increased traction of the lsd i installed, so i'm currently about 34 front 38 rear. the car is planted more firmly than a 200 year old oak tree

the porsche factroy specs are for when you have all kinds of kids, people or luggage and whatever else i don't want in my car. with just one person the factory spec is too much psi ( imo ). they did that for you for liability reasons. you can lower your air pressure, a wheel and tire shop "can't".

Awesome, thanks for the info. It is just me and the wife and both of us together weigh no more than 250 lbs! A couple of light weights for sure! I'll drop the pressure and report back. Thanks.

i'm 147.5 soaking wet and for me? the oem factory psi numbers seemed a bit too high. i'm sure you'll love those psi's once you get em scrubbed. i'm still waiting for someone from CARB aka the "state" to issue me my carbon credit for being in such fighting trim but i think the 10 mpg average fuel consumption i get is offsetting my carbon credit

enjoy the car.. sounds like youre dialing it in!

Well if my honey doesn't come with me I save 100 lbs. Yes, the smog thing in good old CA. I wonder how bad it will be in 15 when I have to get it done! Heck, I should get a credit as well! Dialing these cars in is so much fun!

My experience is you can't do any serious driving with a passenger of any kind, but my 100# counterpart was having a blast last weekend and I've found yet another way to make her squeal lol

I replaced solid, chrome Turbo Twists (came with the car) with Forgestar F14s on my 996TT.

Set the offsets at the equivalent of stock plus 15mm spacers, which really improved the "stance". Wheels really brought the car's looks "up to date" and earned several compliments. Forgestar silver powdercoat is a near perfect match to Arctic Silver too.

Best part... I think I dropped about 40 lbs of unsprung mass by replacing the solid twists.

Those are classics, cant go wrong with them. Love the look. Now you just need to lower it a bit.
