I also wanted to ask you about ccw wheels I have the classics on order but debating on the offsets I ordered 18x9 front and 18x12 rears I want to run 235/40 front and 315/30 rear toyo r888 tires I don't want to roll the fenders and I certainly don't want any rubbing what do you think will be the best offset to get I want the most aggressive possible on stock fenders I know that you have a couple of ccw wheels that you've played around with your help would be appreciated thanks

I didn't realize CCW still made the classics. I thought they were discontinued but I guess I'm wrong. Nice set of wheels. The offsets I ran on CCWs were 18x9 et47 and 18x12 et40. This worked well but I have front Cup uprights and Cup LCAs with 10mm of shims per side which widen the track. Both the front and rear fenders are rolled on my car. I had to roll the fronts more beyond what comes from the factory to fit larger slicks. My car also has GT2 fender liners front and rear and run -3.5º front and -2.5º camber. I do not rub anywhere. Those offsets would still work fine on a stock car especially if you run stock TT or GT2 tire sizes. I run wider and taller tires than stock TT/GT2 which makes fitment critical. I would just roll your fenders. It's super easy and only takes a couple of minutes.

If you are going to run 235/40 and 315/30 tires, I'd highly recommend the Nitto NT01s. They are much much better than the R888s which are lousy in comparison, especially if you are going to track your car. The 888s cycle out very quickly and their grip goes down the tubes even with plenty of rubber left on them. They are also super loud and you can't rotate the wheels on the car as they are directional. NT01 are good all the way to the cords in comparison and I generally get almost 600 miles on them before cording. They make for a decent street tire actually. Can't beat that for $1000 per set...

That makes sense. I knew they quit making them due to the failure of the centers. 44/44 is the standard ccw 9/12" wheel offset for a 6TT. Mine are slightly different as I had the wheels built for my particular application. I have the front wheels built with minimum offset required to clear the springs thus giving me max available room for the biggest tires. Rears are a little tricky as you need to clear the IC hose on the inside and the fender. This is especially tight if you start running taller Cup size rear tires like I'm running. With that said, 44/44 is a good offset that will work with a stock and GT2 sizes.

Finally (after 2 years) got my H&Rs installed and the car aligned. Still need some upper control arms to get the rear camber 100% but it's pretty close. Much improved look just taking 1" out of the wheel wells...
