Best looking wheels on a 996 Turbo
#738
OZ Leggera HLT from Damon at Tirerack, just put them on last week. Maybe not THE best loooking wheel on a 996tt, but from a price/weight/quality stand point, they are exellent, and they do look good, too!

Yea those actually look pretty good, any side shots?

Not a very good quality pic, but all i have at the moment. Damon warned me that the fronts might rub, but I went with the 245/35 MPSS up front and it did rub. I added 8mm spacers. These pics are actually before the front spacers were added. 295/30 MPSS rear do not rub (barely).

Tirerack recommends 225/35/19 when selecting these tires. Is there a reason you went with the 245? I think these wheels look really good on your car and would consider them in black for mine but don't want to add spacers.
thanks

those are my next wheel choice as i'm fairly thru with my f14's . thx for posting the pix. i am weighing the same 3 points $/looks/weight and add to that the availability of a custom fitment. looks nice. good choice!

The bigger diameter 19's help with this. I don't plan on lowering the car, which is one of the reason's I chose the 19's with 295/30 & 245/35, it helps fill those gaps, still rides nice, and my butt dyno can't tell any performance loss with the larger diameter, and even with the larger diameter they are lighter than the stock solid twists.
