Best looking wheels on a 996 Turbo
#886
Thanks! The RUFs were uber-cool, but I had an itch to move to 19s that I couldn't shake . . . Why on earth I changed out a perfectly great set of wheels makes no sense. Of course, neither does owning a Turbo, my GX is perfectly good transportation, HaHa

i could probably get em to you less expensively than the shipper! lol. btw..was that tie me kangaroo song reference showing my age? ya think!?
either way, those advans look great! even if i can't tell one bit of difference btw those and the oz! i say get em in graphite. its great color, or g*n metal ( g*n is a bad word ) grey is less "shiny". i have blk and silver all over my car and the only contrast beyond my pink faded calipers? is the graphite grey wheels and i really like it, though black would look great too if its the only black on a sliver car. i had my f14's in brushed aluminum and then i plastidipped em black! rattle can though it was so i like aerosols! i just dont see the problem
jimbo: not sure what ya think about f14's but they are a very decent choice ! check out the add'l pwdercoating and some other sh*t this guy did. asking like 300 a wheel! w shipping you'd still save a bundle. they look "new" to me! https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...e-stems-2.html

I just had a look at the Oz ones locally and I do like them, my wheel shop going to get back to me with his best price.
Got it re 18" but a bit worried about GT2 sizes rubbing in the TT liners.
Now that Roo song, I have not heard it in such a long time and you had me in stitches reading it from some one so far away. I think we may be in the same age group and to have a 20 yo gf is something else .
"believe me when i say i PUSH it in twists as straighline racing will land me somewhere i have no need to go, if ya get my drift "
Yes I get your drift, I think we have a very similar driving style..........
Thanks for your offer, ideas and input Mark, you're one of the good guys that's for sure.
