Those GT3 style wheels do look sharp, and they have aged quite gracefully!

Think that is HIX's old car.

They are Champion RS98. Not sure on the specs though.

Correct on both counts. They are 19s. I don't know his widths and offsets, but I believe he was also running spacers to add a bit more "flushness". He has them on his 997 now. I also have them on my 997. Mine are 19x8.5x11.5. One of the best looking and lightest wheels available for the 996/997 IMO. Please excuse the 997 pictured below, just focus on the wheels and imagine them on a 996

Yep, I love those wheels and search every once in a while to see if there is a used set for sale. I like my GT3's well enough that Im in no rush though.

We offer the replicas, (these are not them) but FYI, the replicas are only tilt the scales at 21-lbs and 23-lbs (making them lighter than the standard Twist found on most 996 Carrera models.
Are these the Chinese replica boat anchors?: http://www.wspitaly.com/dettaglio-pr...and=%20PORSCHE

They don't say "Made in....." But they do have "Italy" on the back side of the cast
Anyone know anything about these WSP Italy wheels that use the Porsche part number for the gt3 wheels as reference for a "compatible spare replacement wheel" ?

I'm pretty happy with the Forgline GA1R's except for needing some black lug nuts.

For my tastes the Work Brombacher Porsche mesh 3 piece modular design really "Works" on the 996tt. My car is Seal grey and I have an 18" set of these wheels with the polished step lip on order from Work.
