Good Stereo/Nav installers on Long Island NY
#2
Make sure you get a reccomendation for a particular installer within a shop, and make your appointment with them. Lots of shops show you their books displaying the work of a guy that left a year prior, which is no good to you, or the work of their "master installer" who won't actually work on your car. I had more than a few bad installs done on Long Island many years back, and those lessons are easily remembered. Always remember that a good installer working in a bad shop will give you a better result than a bad installer working in the best shop out there. If the shop you may choose has the initials SD, shoot me a PM. I don't want to blast anyone in a public forum over work that was done a decade ago but, in my opinion, the owner was a real piece of garbage and I would avoid the place like the plague.
