Got laid off for New Years
So instead of getting a bonus for busting my *** and working 12 hour+ days some starting at 2am I got laid off. At the end of the day it's better for me because the place is falling apart and work was not fun anymore. I'm slowly learning that sometimes you cannot give 100% right of the bat because you'll be taken advantage of and under paid. This puts a damper on my texas mile trip possibly but as far as I see it I'm onto bigger and better things. His male ego was hurt because I have a 911tt and he, owner, only has a c2 LOL

Adam, Sorry to hear that happen. Seems to be a lot of that happening these days. Of my friends and colleagues that have been laid off over the past couple years, every single one of them has found much better opportunities. I hope that is your fortune as well. Its crappy that companies always lay people off around the holidays. My company did it too. Two people were laid off back in late october/early november. Best of luck finding a new and better job.
