I love white, But the hell I'm buying this for $42K. I'd pay $34K - at most. It really is just as awful in person as it is in pictures. New seats (front and back), door panels, center stalk and console, sterring wheel, handbrake and dash parts.

I would pay 20 something grand for it. Strip the interior, full roll cage, aluminum dash, racing seats, and tada! New track toy!

please elaborate. the seats alone will cost 3-4k.

If I can be all in for $45k (and the car is otherwise fine from a mechanical/exterior condition standpoint), I'll buy it. I'm just now starting my search for a '02-'04 white 996TT, manual.

A used set of leather (non-sport) 996 seats is $700-800.

If you were to keep the interior grey (which I personally don't care for on a 911), it would run $3-4k tops to fix this mess.

There's your answer. Penn State fan. I can almost guarantee that if you look real hard at the back of the car you'll find the remnants of a PSU bumper sticker. Are there any silhouettes of Joe Paterno embroidered in the upholstery?

You guys seem to forget just how gullible people really are. All the dealership has to do is put some type of velvet rope around the car. Refuse to let anybody sit in it and refer to it as a rare, "special order" porsche. I would bet the bank that they would have people willing to pay over sticker for it.

Hmm. I've been wanting a turbo for a long time. Would I put up with this interior to have one? Hmmm.

The god awful interior + the high miles + 2002 + that price = way too much

There are 2003's with far less mileage, and non eyeball searing dashboards out there in that same price range.

It would make more sense to get a cheaper silver car and wrap it in white.
Replacing the interior is asking for a lot of squeaky trouble.

this baby made its way onto ebay! I got all excited when I saw the white and then saw the interior and wanted to cry again.
